If my child is going to be a HOUR late from school and noone is going to answer the phone at the bus barn do you THINK just THINK you may want to call the parents of the students?? It is a special needs bus with only 7 or so children it would not take to long to call and say sorry we are running late our bus broke down.
My son had a full blown break down once he got home. If you would of called I could of came and got him seeing you was just 2 miles away. Instead since you can't answer the phones and had two freaked out parents!!! You have cell phones on the bus, You take our numbers down at the start of the year "incase of a emergency" Use the Damn phone.

My preteen came to me and asked if she could have a new ring tone on her cell phone today. I asked her what was the song? She said That's not my name.. I asked her why that ring tone? She told me she is going to play it every single time a boy calls her sweetie, cuttie, hottie, etc! She is annoyed. She is not into boys yet and apparantly boys are into her! I smiled...... Went to Tmobile.com and downloaded the ringtone for her.
I know we can't keep her small forever............ I know there will be a point in her life where she will find boys cute.......... But for now... She's just not intrested and that makes me giddy! She had a boy come up to her and tell her she was his girl friend. She said no I am not. He said well not yet and she yelled you wish! Keep dreaming! Good Girl! How I wish I could bottle her up and keep her this age!

Saturday morning Dylan got up not feeling well. He was hot, body hurt, belly hurt, fever coughing you name it he had it. He has the flu. When I called the school to let them know today they told me the H1N1 flu had been going around the school for a few weeks. Thanks for letting us know! I hate seeing my kids sick, I hate it hate it hate it and wish I had the magical pill to make them better.
Yesterday Dallas started to cough and had rashes on his back and his chest Today he had fevers. We found out tonight Dallas has pneumonia. You can just tell by looking at him he feels horriable. He is on 5 meds one a nebalizer at home. This has not been FUN! The poor baby just does not understand what is going on. This is so hard to watch. He faught the neb tonight and finally held it in his mouth for a few seconds but he was not happy about it. He started to whine and cry. BLAH
When we got home from the Dr with them 3 kiddo's we found out my brother was sent home from work with a Fever and Andrianna was home from school with a fever. We are using mask and gloves and doing our best to keep all the children away from each other but this is no fun!
If you have extra prayers send it our way. Also please pray for my best friends grandbaby he is not feeling good either and her household is getting sick as well. Sherry was recently in the hospital and we need to keep her healthy.
Here is Dylan and Dallas and then Dallas doing his neb.

I have two sick kids today so I am going to copy and paste my best friends blog for Safe Sunday.
Today I want to direct your attention to a fabulous blog I stumbled across by accident or fate- I like to think there are no coincidences and we end up where we are meant to.
DreamCatchers for Abused Children
From the site: We are an official non-profit 501(c)3 child abuse organization on a mission to educate the public on child abuse prevention & awareness.
I wrote a comment on the blog and asked if they would mind if I featured them- I got a reply from one of the founders, Donna M Kshir. I have been spending time perusing the site and I have to say you will find a wealth of information that will not only open your eyes, but I believe help steer you in the right direction if you or someone you know needs help.
We started the blog for many reasons, but the most important to create awareness and educate the public on the signs, symptom and long term affects of abuse. Too many people are uneducated about child abuse. I know, I was one of them until I meant Sandra Potter and became part of the Dreamcatchers for Abused Children organization.
I thank God every day that neither myself nor my children have ever been affected by abuse, but just because I have personally not been affected... doesn't mean I will close my eyes or pretend child abuse doesn't exist. In my opinion, there are too many people that pretend child abuse is non-existent, and these abused children deserve more.
Abuse is a taboo subject and it goes unspoken. The statistics are higher than ever before. I strongly believe abusers are educated on how to manipulate children, and the innocent and naive lack such a hardcore education.
I want children and parents to know abusers can be a parent, relative, family friend or anyone. They can be a man or woman, married or single. They can hold any religious belief, and have any sexual preference.
Education or intelligence doesn’t prevent them from molesting your child. Abusers easily convince your child they are responsible for their wrongful behavior. Abusers are good at manipulating children causing that child protect them.
Sandra and I want all this to change. We want ALL children to be safe and feel protected in their own homes, and not have to fear the people they are suppose to love and trust the most. I am proud to be President of Dreamcatchers for Abused Children, and I am extremely honored to work with Sandra. Her dedication to educating the public and helping those who have been inflicted by child abuse is an incredible and selfless act of kindness. I am proud not only to call her a business partner and co-author, but a friend!
I believe if our work helps even one child, we are well on our way of succeeding at our goals. Together I know we CAN and WILL make a difference!
Please, go read up and make yourself aware - no child deserves to suffer, no abuser deserves to get away with it.
Thanks for reading, everyone. Please post your Safe Sunday posts here and remember to link back here so we can make sure to get the word out as far and wide as we can. It does matter, it will make a difference.
As always, feel free to grab the Mr. Linky for your blog, I made it public so anyone who wants to help can!
