In order to stay connected to my children I've taken a job that pays peanuts in exchange for the same schedule. Working as a lunch lady in their school district means we're together before and after school, evenings, weekends, and any break or holiday. It's awesome!

clynsg said...: Follower via GFC. My children are grown, one is local so I see or speak with her by phone almost every day. The other one is more difficult--she is about 1800 miles away, doesn't do much by either email or Facebook, so it is phone calls. And since she is a workaholic I frequently end up with her voice mail. She does generally call back pretty well though.
